We rent mountain and safety gear in Ensenada, including crampons and ice axes. It is for people who want to climb or trek the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes on their own.

We rent mountain gear to people going without a guide who need safety equipment. These are the items available. Prices are per day.
If you go without a guide, always register at the CONAF offices (Osorno Volcano or Petrohué) and follow the National Park rules. You cannot climb the volcanoes alone. The summit climb is also not allowed when CONAF closes access for weather or safety reasons: check with CONAF before you set off.
The equipment must be returned complete and in the same condition as delivered. The cost of repairing or replacing damaged equipment is paid by the customer. The rental does not include damage insurance: the renter is responsible for any material damage or personal injury. You sign a rental contract and leave your ID card as a deposit.
Gear is included on the guided Osorno Volcano climb, 12 hours to the summit, and on the glacier trek, 6 hours and with crampons. To combine hiking and cycling, there is the Trek & Bike to Paso Desolación. We also rent mountain bikes and kayaks and SUP boards on the lake.

Crampons cost CLP 10,000 per day. Boots cost CLP 20,000; a technical ice axe, CLP 15,000, and a helmet, CLP 7,000.
