Paddling Lake Llanquihue on your own

On our beach we rent single and double sit-on-top kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, from age 12. You rent them by the hour at our kiosk, on the shore of Lake Llanquihue, for responsible use on the lake.

A paddle along the national park

It is an outing in quiet natural surroundings, along the edge of Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. You can paddle, for example, toward Laguna Verde, always with views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes.

Single kayak, double kayak or SUP

A sit-on-top kayak is open and stable, easy for first-time paddlers. The double works well with a child. On a SUP you paddle standing on the board. They can be used from age 12, under the supervision of a responsible adult, and a life jacket is included. The kiosk opens from 9:30 am to 5 pm in winter, and until 7 pm in spring and summer.

Rental conditions

The equipment must be returned complete and in the same condition as delivered. The cost of repairing or replacing damaged equipment is paid by the customer. The rental does not include damage insurance: the renter is responsible for any material damage or personal injury.

Hours and rates

A single kayak costs CLP 8,000 per hour; a double kayak, CLP 12,000, and a SUP board, CLP 10,000. The kayaks are sit-on-top: open and stable.

With a guide or with lodging

If you prefer a guided trip, sea kayaking visits the lake caves and the Reloncaví estuary. To sleep by the beach there is a lakeside campsite or the Barlovento cabins, at the same base. To learn technique, there are kayak lessons. We also offer bike rental and mountain gear rental.
