Lakeside camping: beach and Osorno Volcano

The campsite is on the shore of Lake Llanquihue, with a volcanic sand beach and views of Osorno Volcano. It is a lakeside beach, not the sea: fresh water, volcanoes and forest. Some sites are right by the beach and others a little further back, more sheltered from the wind off the lake.

Kayak and SUP on Lake Llanquihue

On the lake you can go kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). You can rent a kayak or a SUP board from the beach. A single kayak costs CLP 8,000 per hour; a double, CLP 12,000, and a SUP board, CLP 10,000.

A campsite with cabins at the same base

Barlovento offers camping and cabins at the same base. For groups or travelers without a tent there are cabins with hot tubs for 4 to 6 people, apartments for 2 and a beach house for 13. There is also an event venue for 50 people, and we host school trips. The hot tubs are rented separately: CLP 40,000 for 3 hours.
